About
I am an electrical engineering student that is very interested in all the different types of engineering. I have been learning 3D printing, 3D modeling (Fusion 360), electronics, PCB design, programming (microcontrollers, websites and apps), and prototyping. I put my skills to the test by challenging myself to difficult projects like my 3D-printed 6-axis Industrial-style robot arm. I designed everything about the arm including the circuitboards, software, and the arm itself. Although I am an electrical engineering student, I learned everything on my own through the web. I currently and studying electrical engineering in Corpus Christi Texas.

Rechargeable battery packs
When I started learning about electronics I made some rechargeable battery packs with some lithium ion cells I found in the trash and old computers. I was told that the only way my parents would allow me to charge them was if I wrote a paper on lithium battery safety. Thankfully they didn’t explode. I still use them in projects to this day.
-
Prototyping
My first electronics project was a remote controller that I could hook up and control a video game I made. I then made a remote control car and a remote control boat with my diy batteries and some Arduinos.
-
PCB Design
I’ve been making circuitboards for a while. I used to etch my own with a sharpie. Joe the past two years I have been designing my own circuitboards and using tiny integrated circuits instead of development boards. My latest one is a circuitboards that screws onto a stepper motor. It has and an encoder, thermistors, Wi-Fi, a fast microcontroller, and a silent stepper driver.
-
Python Apps
I’ve made many python apps. My first one was a shooter game. I also have designed apps for potential products that didn’t take off. My latest one was a controller for a robot arm that had a 3d simulation and a kinematic model with Wi-Fi connectivity.
-
Web Design
I’ve made many websites with python and html. Here is my personal website: www.rondopia.com
It’s not my most impressive website because it’s so simple.
-
3D Printing
I have been designing and 3D printing for a long time. I used to sell custom 3D printed parts to sailboats with a modified 3D printer. I’ve made hundreds of parts and I’m proficient and fast at 3D designing and printing.

Engineering Project
I designed and 3D printed a 6-axis robot arm with custom circuitboards and software with my diy kinematic model!
