About

Provide engineering support to the projects. Engineering includes, but is not limited to:
- design of temporary structures (falsework, formwork)
- design of temporary soil retaining systems (shoring, trenches, slopes)
- design of hardware (rigging, falsework removal, etc.)
- heavy equipment planning (bridge crossing, ground bearing, crane use, etc.)
Draft plans for all designs
Visit project sites and collaborate with field personnel (superintendants, foremen, project…
-Design of falsework, shoring, column guying, etc. needed for bridge construction.
-Frequent use of AutoCAD
-Work closely with field engineers on multiple bridge projects (Coordinate with RE, subcontractors, foreman, etc., Review/decipher civil/structural plans, Assign work performed/material purchased to proper job codes)
Work closely with senior engineers on various tasks dealing with bridge design (Perform detailed bridge quantities, study bridge/retaining wall design, create various spreadsheet templates)
-Knowledge and hands-on-experience with building materials/ lumber/hardware used in structure design (lightframe, concrete, masonry, steel)
-Personable skills gained from 7 years of interacting with customers and selling product
-Expert skills with forklift/power equipment
-Efficient product assembly
Tutors students in the subjects of math and physics resulting in dramatic increase in students’ grade percentage
CCTV analysis/inspection of local sewer pipes.
-Programmed CNC lathes to cut material based on dimensions and tolerances specified on AutoCAD prints
-Ran Machines to obtain specified quantities, measuring parts, de-burring parts, variety of shop tool experience
