I am a trained mechanical engineer, graduating with a 2.1 in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) from the University of Bath. Over the course of my degree and following graduation, I have developed an advanced understanding of CAD modelling and can help you bring your ideas/sketches/plans to life in Autodesk Fusion 360. I can provide technical advice, CAD models (as well as renders) and drawings of single parts & whole assemblies, whether for design presentations, 3D printing or other manufacturing methods and any other application.
I have been involved in a variety of projects, from the design of a bolt cutter drill attachment in SolidEdge to the creation of curved folded surfaces using Grasshopper. I am a naturally creative person, with a great interest in art, photography and design. I am therefore ideally suited to work on projects at the intersection between engineering and art & design, where I can utilise both my engineering and creative experience.

- Design Engineer Akwel Automotive · Full-time Jul 2017 – Aug 2018 1 yrs 1 mos Chippenham, England, United Kingdom During my industrial placement, I worked in the R&D department of Akwel Automotive, an automotive cooling firm. During my placement, I was given sole responsibility for a product development project. I designed several test rigs using SolidWorks CAD software and used them to perform operational tests on the prototype. I also liaised with prototype manufacturers & machine shops and created design specifications, continuously adapting the design in CAD according to test results and manufacturing constraints. My placement gave me the skills to plan an engineering project, produce toleranced engineering drawings for manufacture, test prototypes and collaborate with manufacturers.
