Firstly, I have 20 years experience using 3D software (3DS Max in particular) including 10 years in house experience in the games industry as a 2/3D artist and animator. My time in games spanned the transition from 2 to 3D gaming so I have old school pixel pushing skills as well as 3D modelling and animation under my belt.

I was also in the thick of it when web developers began utilising 3D graphics on the internet working together with coders on some award winning web based projects such as 'Life of Pi' online book promo and an animated 3D installation within Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital (GOSH) which played on two large format TV's stacked in portrait configuration within elevators so the screens stood the full height of the wall. The GOSH project was featured in Computer Arts magazine and received some great comments from the kids and doctors alike.

More recently I trained as an Architectural Technician and have almost 14 years of experience producing CAD drawings, 3D visualisations and a range of architectural services on circa 700 projects in both commercial and domestic settings.

As a freelancer I continue to work for a vast array of clients either directly or through third parties, such as Standard Life, Scottish Widows and Visit Scotland on a variety of 3D and illustration projects and on the Architectural side, Coral, Ladbrokes, Peacocks and Bonmarche to name a few.

3DS Max, AutoCAD and Photoshop are my tools of choice but I've dabbled with a multitude of similar and associated software packages along the way and I'm not adverse to jumping between products to achieve a desired effect.

With a strong traditional art and photography background I'm happy as long as I'm being creative and as you will see from my range of work, comfortable working on a wide variety of projects.

My main strength, apart from my vast experience, is my ability to turn projects around quickly and to a high standard, which I'm pretty sure is a big factor in why my long standing clients continue to come back again and again.

My varied background also allows me to approach a brief from various angles and offer multiple solutions as apposed to variations on a single theme.
