Revised prints in AutoCAD and implemented print revisions based on changes made on the wire mill floor or in the machine shop.
Creating stock cards for machine shop employees to make parts from.
Developed a standardized safety process for the new forklifts for propane tank exchange, incorporated OSHA regulations, designed tags in case of damaged tanks, and made the procedure as part of the 5S standardization of work.
Obtained field measurements in the steel mill to design guards for improved machinery safety.
Learned the fundamentals of weld callouts and sheet metal flat patterns, and how to do the appropriate calculations for flat pattern length based on various angles and sizes of material thickness.
Worked in a physical vault system that utilized an index card system as well as a digitized system.
