RESPONSIBILITIES:
 creating innovative new products and design research
 All aspects of the product development cycle, from concept ideation through production
 Preparation of CAD models, photorealistic renderings, production drawings, and physical prototypes
 Research operational and materials specifications, manufacturing methods, and develop cost estimates
 Create instructional videos, illustrations, and documentation for customers and promotional use
 develop design concepts and 3D models, and provide rendered illustrations for clients
 Operate and maintain 3D printers and prototyping department

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
 licensed three (3) new product concepts for development and manufacturing
 implemented FDM 3D printing for prototypes in in 2013; upgraded to larger UpBox+ printer in 2018
 awarded first place in national competition for most innovative 3D-printable kitchen accessory
 won three consecutive awards in national competitions for best photorealistic renderings
 licensed multiple rendered images for promotional use by TurboCAD

RESPONSIBILITIES
 establish and integrate new division within existing management and manufacturing structures of A/S Custom Furniture
 perform all marketing and sales efforts: cold calls, client negotiations, promotional materials and social media design
 industrial design: conceptual renderings, bid and presentation documents, CAD models, engineering drawings, renderings
 project management: fabrication drawings, specifications, BOM, assembly documentation, onsite installation supervision

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
 generated sales and produced $3M+ of consoles for television networks and major-market broadcasting facilities worldwide
 applied DFM approach to existing console designs, utilizing A/S Custom digital CNC and panel processing equipment
 invented the RACKBLOCKS Modular Console System

 founded Eastboard Consoles to design and produce technical furniture for the broadcasting industry
 invented and licensed three cabinetmaking components for manufacturing and national distibution
 designed and patented the Laplift, an ergonomic support platform for portable computers
 started a commercial photography business doing advertising and editorial photography
 exhibited and sold sculpture and art furniture at galleries and juried craft shows
 maintained a color-capable darkroom and processed my own work
