Electrical Engineer Sinohydro Corporation Limited · Full-time Aug 2022 – Present 2 yrs 8 mos undefined, Uganda • Oversee and manage teams of electricians and subcontractors to ensure that construction elements are properly installed, formed, and executed by project standards and client requirements.
• Ensure that installation works comply with the approved design documents.
• Liaise with the consultant on behalf of EPCC to ensure equipment inspection and verification, as well as the inspection and verification of site installations, are completed before commissioning.
• Plan, develop and design as-built drawings of installed systems for final submission and approval by the consultant and client.
• Review drawings and submittals from subcontractors and determine if coordination with other disciplines is necessary, in addition to monitoring ongoing construction work to identify problems or non-compliance with design or contract specifications.
• Prepare construction reports detailing construction progress and identify any problems with the construction process related to the incumbent’s area of expertise.
• Determine and manage schedules in collaboration with subcontractors to ensure that electrical work is completed concurrently with other project elements.
• Perform Site Acceptance Test (SAT) inspections.
• Other duties as assigned by the lead engineers.
