• R&D Design Engineer Erduman Automotiv · Full-time Apr 2021 – Oct 2022 1 yrs 6 mos Bursa, Bursa, Türkiye Erduman automotive is a bodywork and interior design company that produces high-quality products for Mercedes VIP vehicles and buses. My responsibilities included:
  • Designing the interior design components and mechanisms using Solidworks& Catia for VIP Mercedes vehicles according to visual designs for the European and American markets and streamlining for mass production.
  
  • Prototyping, reverse engineering, developing and producing products using CAD (Solidworks, Catia, AutoCAD) and CAM(Pegasus CAM) tools with the production methods such as wood and aluminum CNC machining, laser cutting, sheet metal bending, welding, 3D Printing, plastic thermoforming and fiber moulding until the final phase.
  • Researching, purchasing and developing used methods and products according to global automotive standards and solving problems during production.

  As a project engineer, my responsibilities in the projects:
  • Planning, monitoring, controlling and finishing the activities of the projects,
  • Creating prototypes according to ballistic and contract specifications, preparing it for mass production using Solidworks and AutoCad and ensuring its approval by the customer,
  • Producing and designing parts for production using laser cutting, sheet metal bending, welding and fiber molding
  • Preparing respective project documentation, reports and presentations,
  • Sharing the status information of projects with senior management and internal project team members,
  • Coordination and execution of activities such as integration, testing and training in projects,
  • Coordination of offer preparations and contracts, respond to information requests,
  • Ensuring that the product responds to the specifications, preparing certificates of conformance (CoC)
  • Accompanying the client during the project acceptance and inspection stages and representing the project.
  • Procurement of suitable materials and supplier relationship management.
