My research field is to focus on renewable energy harvesting system in which the power is harvested from oscillating or random vibration sources.
¥ Calculate and analyse an oscillating hybrid harvester power,
¥ Designed and built a magnetic gear for wave energy harvesting inspired by a flux transvers-flux machine,
¥ Air gap magnetic flux density analytical and 3D FEA calculation,
¥ 3D finite element analysis to calculate characteristics,
¥ Design optimisation and scaling of the magnetic gear,
¥ Built and tested a magnetic gear prototype.
