About
Gillette Design Studio concept emerged as an idea in the summer of 2018 as a result of a daunting task in renovating a rental home that was in much needed repairs. We familiarized ourselves with the documentation necessary to obtain the appropriate permits from the city. On hindsight, going through the maze of the permit process, was easier than spending a fortune in hiring someone to prepare and draw our construction drawings. We decided to prepare our own construction drawings. Well, it worked out. The plans were approved and we were able to get the renovation permitted. Hence, our concept was born. To provide affordable drafting services while sharing useful information.
Gillette Design Studio provides affordable architectural drafting and measurement services to homeowners, contractors, architects, engineers, realtors and interior designers. Some of our services include On Site Measurements, As-Built Floor Plans, Construction Drawings for residential remodeling projects and Drafting Services for residential work permits.
