  As a 2D Rebar Detailer, I am responsible for preparing detailed drawings for the placement and bending of reinforcing bars (rebar) used in concrete structures. This includes interpreting architectural and structural drawings to ensure that the rebar layout meets the project’s design specifications. I utilize industry-standard software like AutoCAD to create precise 2D drawings, detailing rebar lengths, shapes, and positioning.
  
  As a Rebar Checker, my role extends to verifying the accuracy of these rebar drawings to ensure compliance with building codes, standards (such as ACI, BS, or local standards), and project requirements. This includes verifying dimensions, material specifications, connection details, and constructability. I also ensure the drawings align with architectural and structural design intent and that they are feasible for manufacturing and transportation.

The converted files are then refined, making them suitable for further modifications, analysis, and collaboration within the design team.
