  • Mechanical Design Engineer SMS Group GmbH · Full-time Jun 2018 – Jun 2020 2 yrs Chesterfield, England, United Kingdom During my role as a Mechanical Design Engineer at SMS Meer, I was tasked with developing 2D/3D models and associated engineering drawings of guiding systems in wire and rod rolling mills and to ensure that the passage within the guiding system is in accordance with the customer-specific roll pass schedule thus enabling the stock to accurately and safely pass through the guide.

  • Sheffield Hallam Universirty MSc, Advanced Engineering, 2:1 2018 – 2019 The major thesis entitled ‘’Design Verification Through Tolerance Stackup and Analysis of a Robust Mount Support for a High-Speed Roller Entry Guide’’, in collaboration with SMS Meer GmbH.

    By evaluating the engineering data, I was able to determine whether the design of a Roller Guide Mount Support assembly was manufactured to specification by using advanced tolerance stackup methods (1D, 2D, and 3D)
