About

I am a Civil Engineer, working in the construction and mechanical industry since 1998. I have worked on different projects and companies, from Residential and commercial building to complex infrastructure projects.

In Pakistan I have worked mostly on residential building and villas, when Pakistan’s first Motorway project was launched I became a part of pioneering team. I worked there on M2 Lahore to Islamabad motorway project and was in-charge of Culverts and small underpasses which ran under the motorway to facilitate the locals, villagers and animals of the area to cross under the road.

In 2007 I moved to United Arab Emirates, here I mostly worked on infrastructure projects based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. My focus was utilities, like potable water, sewerage and sanitary water, storm water drainage and irrigation most of the time. But I also worked on electrical networks and fiber optic cables for telecoms and traffic.

With the experience spanning more than 2 decades I have decided to now shift my attention to freelancing world. As the world is changing repeatedly so is the way to work. Freelancing is the most comfortable way to express my abilities and find new technologies and meet new people which I truly enjoy.

I can work on Civil and Mechanical projects, detailed drawings for Tools and Assemblies, Floor plans, Front elevations, Architectural details and sections for buildings as well as Layouts, profiles and sketches for infrastructure work you name it. Elementary survey (on ground and trial trenches) details or complex works of layout and profiling an area for any utility or structure I am your expert to do it all.

I like to take up challenges, freelancing will present my skills to the whole world. I also have good communication skills as I had worked with many multinational companies, consultants and clients with nationalities in Pakistan and abroad, from all around the world.

Meeting dead lines, finishing work with accuracy and professionalism is my trademark. For comfort and peace of mind to my client I keep direct and constant connection, till the work ends.

Experience

Draftsman Mechenical and Civil Engineering Contractors Co LLC (MACE) · Full-time Jan 2007 – Present 18 yrs 4 mos Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates I joined MACE in 2007 since then I am working there in the capacity of project draftsman. The company specializes in Civil and Mechanical works for wet utilities and infrastructure. In the last 13 years, I have done many successful projects with them in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. ( Highlight of which was the project near Burj Khalifa ) construction of the main interchange at the defense roundabout. Apart from that, I was involved in Water, Sewerage, Stormwater drainage, and Irrigation projects preparing Civil as well as Mechanical drawings for Plants, Chambers, and Pipeline networks.
Site supervisor Pakistan Motorway project M2 and M1 · Full-time Oct 2000 – Jan 2007 6 yrs 3 mos Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan Worked as a site supervisor at the M2 (Lahore - Islamabad) motorway project, where I was responsible for inspecting and confirm the process and quality of culverts under the motorway.
Civil Engineer Self Employed · Full-time Apr 1998 – Jan 2004 5 yrs 9 mos undefined, Pakistan I was a part of the Construction of Residential Villas and Buildings. Commercial Structures and Offices as a partner and civil engineer I supervised many successful projects for our clients.

Allama Iqbal Open University BECHALOR DEGREE, Computer Sciences, B 2000 – 2004 I had completed 4 years computer sciences degree at Allama Iqbal open university.
Sarhad College of Technology (Abbottabad - Pakistan) Civil Engineering Diploma, Civil, A+ 1995 – 1997 Activities and Societies: Event management, Camping and Hiking. I have done my 3 years civil engineering diploma with distinction. Achieving 2nd position in my province (KPK-Pakistan).

Other experience

Photographer As a hobby I enjoy photography, mostly I like product photography, potrates and landscapes.
Graphic Design As a hobby and part time work in my education era, I had worked and enjoyed graphic designing on Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and many other softwares and apps. Product designing, stationary publishig and photo editing are some areas of my work.
