I am a certified plastic design engineer responsible for design and development of Medical and electromechanical devices. My work experience includes following
New product design, Development, Prototyping and testing experience.
Worked on Plastic product design for both industrial and Electromechanical products and having good knowledge of molding processes.
Worked on sheet metal product design, different operations in sheet metals, and casting products.
Worked on selection of materials especially plastic materials considering Functionality, Mechanical, electrical, optical properties, Climatic conditions, Availability, Cost etc.
Worked on Reverse and Value engineering of products.
Having Experience in Parts tracking, EAU Estimation, BOM creation, ECO creation.
Performing FEA and thermal analysis on part and product level (Intensive experience in electronic cooling and solutions for various electronic systems and Lighting components) and calculations such as tolerance stack analysis, force and stress analysis etc., to ensure a functional and robust design of the part design.
Worked on DFMEA/PFMEA and RCA.
Good knowledge of GD & T, DFA,DFM,Form & fits for mating features.
Creating Parts and assembly drawings.
Worked on PLM & PDMS and project management.
Worked & Knowledge of different Mechanical software’s like Pro/E Wildfire, Solidworks ,Autodesk inventor and knowledge of others as mentioned below.
Planning and co-ordination of day-to-day activities involved in project assignment.
I am proficient in CAD software’s like Solidworks,Pro/E Wildfire, Autodesk inventor, AutoCAD and Microsoft office, Basics of C.
For FEA and Thermal analysis software used are Solid works and Autodesk Flex, Ansys.
