About
I am a robotics engineer and electrician's mate with 7+ years of experience in design and development applications for Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360 including 3D and 2D designs. Able to learn new technologies rapidly and in short period. Strong communications skills.
Key Skills:
C++, VHDL, MATLAB, Arduino, Bare-Metal Programming, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion 360.

2 yrs 11 mos
Lincoln, England, United Kingdom
During my time working as an electrician's mate, I installed electrical circuits, evaluated, and
commissioned electrical circuits and gained the knowledge of safe working practices in a work
environment.

Whilst working as an engineering technician I learnt what it was like working in a work
environment and gained valuable practical knowledge after evaluating and repairing robotic
machinery.

BEng, Robotic Engineering, First Class Honours
2020 – 2022
Activities and Societies:
Whilst studying at university I participated in many martial arts, one being Muay Thai which I competed in and by training in a martial art I have gained discipline and respect.
I achieved a First-Class Honours and won an award for my dissertation. The project consisted of A 3D printed finger and flexure joint with pressure sensing, manipulated via a negative pressure artificial muscle. Another project was designing, manufacturing and programming a bipedal robot to walk unassisted.
Relevant modules include Robot Design & Build, Mobile & Humanoid Robotics, Control Engineering (Kinematics), Introduction to Sensors & Actuators and Engineering mathematics & statistics.

BTEC Level 3, Design and Manufacture Engineering, Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction
2016 – 2020
Activities and Societies:
Whilst at LUTC I took the opportunity to take part in designing, manufacturing and competing with an RC land vehicle and RC boat in a competition organised by the navy.
I have also taken part in the government-funded National Citizen Service project in 2017, designed to expand students’ attributes and leadership skills.
During most of my modules both at LUTC I was required to write reports, design (CAD & CAM), manufacture, code and present.
We gave regular presentations every 2 weeks to build our workplace skills, communication and confidence and am so grateful for that opportunity as it has assisted me hugely during my degree.
Other experience
-
Bipedal Robot Project
One of the modules during my robotics degree required me to design, manufacture, program and compete with a bipedal walking robot that could walk unassisted.
-
Dissertation Project
My dissertation heavily revolved around Human and Biological Robotics as I designed and manufactured a robotic finger that uses a newly researched flexure joint and a negative pressure artificial muscle to manipulate it with pressure sensing.
